Nowadays, there are confusions among religions about who Christ is. Also, there are many people today that claim to be Christians and interpret the words of God incorrectly, de...ceiving themselves and many believers. Some of these churches believe that Jesus Christ is just a prophet. Others say He is just another man. There is a story in the Holy Scriptures that talks about the Lord and who He really is. Hopefully, this should help people and many religions clear up this confusion.
Jeremiah 16:21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My name is the Lord.
There was a day when the Lord Jesus Christ gathered His disciples and asked them who He was. One of His disciples said that He was Elijah. Another said that He was just a prophet. The Lord Jesus Christ knew He wasn’t just a prophet or Elijah, so He continued searching for the one that knew Him. Peter, being guided by the Spirit of God, knew who Jesus Christ was. He told Him He was the Son of God. The Lord Jesus Christ said to him "You are Peter and on this rock I will build My church" (Matt 16:18). The Lord Jesus Christ is teaching us through this scripture people who believe the same as Peter are the ones true church or religion. If anyone or church believes He is the Son of God and does not follow the Commandment is not the true church. In the Book of Revelation, it is written that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Beginning of the creation of God. God created our Lord Jesus Christ as He created us.
Revelation 3:14 To the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; these things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God.
Psalms 1:6-12 Yet I have set My King on My holy Hill of Zion. I will declare the decree, the Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son Today I have begotten You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Now therefore, be wise, o kings, be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
John:1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In
After the Lord God created Lord Jesus Christ, He placed His Spirit in Him, and they became One just as we are one with God through the Holy Spirit within us. His Spirit in our Lord Jesus created all things, invisible and visible, man and woman, on earth, in the heavens (planets), sea, and dry land. Lord Jesus became our Creator.
Isaiah 40:13 Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, Or as His counselor has taught Him?
I remember a conversation I had with a man. We were talking about how Jesus Christ was created. He thought that the Lord Jesus Christ came through male and female interaction. He did not know that the Lord Jesus Christ already existed in the spiritual world before He was born in the physical world. The Lord Jesus Christ confirmed this to the man when he said, "Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58). Our Lord Jesus Christ worked spiritually through prophets such as Abraham, Elijah and Paul. He directed them in how to live righteously and follow the Commandments. His work through the prophets is recorded in the Old Testament. He was also with King David and helped killed Goliath. He was with there beside Moses amidst all those great signs and wonders in Egypt. His name in the Old Testament was Lord of hosts. The Book of Jeremiah teaches us that the Lord of host is One who searches the hearts and minds.
Jeremiah 17:10 I, the Lord, search the heart; I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah 20:12 But, O Lord of hosts, you who test the righteous, and see the mind and heart, let me see your vengeance on them, for I have pleaded my cause before You.
The Book of Revelation declares the One who searches the heart and mind is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 2:23 I will kill her children with death. And all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
The Lord God, the Father, saw that all flesh would perish, and so He gave the Lord Jesus Christ to save us. The Lord Jesus Christ left His glory in Heaven and obeyed our Father. Though born of the Spirit, Christ did indeed go through the normal birth process. But sins such as pride hinder people from understanding the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in physical form. The priests of His time did not understand the spiritual work of God and failed to see it, for they were not humble like Mary and Joseph. The priests knew the prophecy of the coming of the Messiah, but did not recognize Him when the time came. In order for one to understand this physical manifestation of a spiritual being, one must first understand the Old Testament procedures for a Sin Offering. Moses was instructed by the Lord to take a sheep to the door of the Tabernacle and kill it as a sin offering to redeem a person from sinning. Lord Jesus needed to go through this process to fulfill the procedure of sin offering. He needed to be in the form of a physical body with flesh and blood, as a sin offering, to redeem His people from death. The Lord Jesus Christ was sentenced to death by the priest. Their grounds for killing Him were that He was allegedly violating the Law of Moses. But the spiritual motive was that God would use His blood to wash the sins of the sinners. He is our sacrificial lamb.
To this day, people continue in pride and reject the gift of God - Jesus Christ. They divide themselves through religions. There are some that only focus on learning the skin color of Jesus Christ rather than following His Commandments. Others turned to the perverted teaching that they are no longer obligated to follow the Law, Prophets, or the Old Testament. They reject the celebration of Sabbath Day and believe that God’s love means that there is no correction or discipline. They worship God in images of wood or stone. Some of them worship Him in pretense, claiming to be Christians or a nation under God, yet they don't want His words in their offices. Sadly, many in authority won’t even allow conversations about the Savior. They made a law where God should be worshipped, yet approve of education based on the Greeks and Romans who recognized neither the existence nor the power of God. They use "grace" as an excuse to commit sin after sin. Then, they are deluded into thinking that their sins are always forgiven, regardless of the type or severity of the sin.
Romans 10:3 For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Since the time when people fell into sin, we see how punishment has destroyed their lives. God did not intend it to be this way. It is through choice and free will that people decide whether to commit sin and suffer punishment or to choose righteousness and receive the rewards. God shows His love to us by forgiveness through our repentance. He sent prophets to teach us to repent and His only Son Jesus Christ to save us. But people continue to harden their hearts or make their faces flint with all kinds of beliefs, worldly knowledge to reject His grace. See More
